A poem which I wrote after that Mumbai shootout...
Its more of a Tribute than its a poem..

As the sun started to rise,the humanity had an end,
how could a man with a gun kill his own friends.

like the face of death,he went on a killing spree,
killing them one by one,letting their souls go free.

he did not give them any chance to run,
he killed someones lonely daughter, he killed someones only son.

he must have kept the faces of the one he killed in his mind,
it was not the death of students ,it was the death of the human kind.

in red with blood ,he painted the sky,
he left all hearts broken,he left eyes all dry.

he went on shooting,killing all the time,
the ones who he killed,what was their crime?

to stop him someone might have tried,
but at the end ,even god must have cried.

someone he killed wanted to be a doctor,someone wanted to touch the sun,
but now a mother has to live her life with just a picture of her lost son.

I pray to god to keep their lonely souls at ease,
lets pray to god,"MAY THEIR LOST SOULS REST IN PEACE"

IN MEMORY OF THE PEOPLE WHO GOT KILLED IN MUMBAI SHOOTING...

Yesterday on of my oldest (Best) friend told me this incidence which happened with her about how she gave a unwanted bottle of coke to a poor boy and how he reacted drinking it..So this poem is about the that incidence and poverty in whole...So here it is hope you all like it...


Things we really want,we can get it in an instant,
But for some even food is a dream so distant.


They live a hard life,a life of a stray,
For a piece of bread they have to work whole day.


One summer day,the sun was at its harshest self,
I saw a young boy may be of age twelve.


For me that much heat was hard to cope,
So I buyed for me a bottle of coke.


I drank till it wiped my sweat,
Then I saw some drink in the bottle was left.


I could not carry it with me back,
cause some where I had lost its cap.


It had lost its fizz,it had became mild,
Then I decided to give it to that poor child.


As soon as he drank,he made a wierd face,
I think it was first time such drink he taste.


That moment with the world he was least bother,
But he shared that drink with his younger brother.


As he drank the brother's reaction was the same,
It was fun for them,it was just like a game.


They drank it all part by part,
All this which happened just moved my heart.


In life we get more then we allways wanted,
But we take all these things for granted.


So the next time you have some food to spare,
Do remember there are people with whom you can share.


We may be Rich in every part,
But they sure are more Rich than us in matter of HEART !!!!!

Todays poem is about friendship which I think is the best thing on this earth...
So this poem is just a promise to friend that I'll allways be there....

Born in separate wombs away
Came to know my sis one day
To love and care a lot for you
Born am I your brother big guy.
Sometime would life be deserted
And at times be really weird
Life is all of ups and downs
But full of hopes with you by my side.

We are friends from far away.

When we talk we always have something to say.

Our lives so different yet the same.

Every night we play the game.

We talk of families and about our day.

I always wonder if there's more to say.

Could it have been different for you and I?

Or was fate decided before we could have tried?

For now we play our parts, that's all that's left;

Never knowing if our hearts would have met.

Two people from far away, always asking, "How was your day?".

This poem is really close to my heart...I think its the best I wrote..

Year's ago on the road's lived a child with his mother,
They had nothing of their own,they only had each other.


They lived in the open sun,they lived in the harsh heat,
They had no money,they hardly had anything to eat.


Mother worked whole day,all day she would run,
She would sleep with hunger at night but would feed her only son.


The day came when the son was born,
He was soo happy like the world he had won.


In that joy the boy ran all the way,
He asked his mother for a gift that day.


Hearing this the mother cried,
She could not given him anything even when she tried.


But when she opened her eye's tears gate,
She saw on the ground a fruit of date.


She picked it up and smiled with joy,
And gave that to her only boy.


The boy smiled seeing that,all his pains he had forgotten,
But when he was about to eat,he saw that the date was rotten.


On seeing that rotten date the boy cried,
His mother could not stop him when she tried.


On the ground he throwed that rotten date,
For this rotten gift,his mother he hates.


Now the times have changed,now the boy is grown,
Now he can buy anything,now anything he can own.


He is changed now,the world he has won,
But his biggest treasure he lost,he lost his mom.


For hurting his mother that day,now himself he hate,
He still has that gift with him,he still has that rotten date.


He ask forgiveness from his mother in the sky above,
Cause he could not understand that presious gift,
A sign of mothers unconditional love !!!!!!!

This poem I wrote inspired by 4 lines which my friend told me...

Its about love and friendship..I just loved these lines and decided to write a poem on it...Here are those 4 lines ...

Its easy to turn friendship into love,
But difficult to turn love in to friendship.
If the two past lover's are still remain friends,
Then they are either in love or were never in love...

A year before a girl I met,

With her looks my heart she swept.

After somedays we where friends,

My love for her had no ends.

When we were away,each second was like a life time,

Then I knew I was in love for first time.

Every time we met I watched the clock,

I wished for a moment time would stop.

One day I tried to tell,

But that day did not end well.

She told me she loved some one,

Hideing my feelings I tried to run.

All my happiness she tooked away,

Keeping a stone on my heart I ran away.

After few months we met again,

On seeing her I was in pain.

I allways pray for her happiness,

In front of her my smile my love was less.

That day with my tears in rained,

I wish in love I never fall again.

A poem for the most important person in my life.....

I feel you in the morning

When at first I awake

Your thought is with me

With each decision I make

You'd been around forever

Since the first breath I took

Now I have to go on alone

But for love, I need not look

Cause by what you bestowed

In our short time together

Will last in my heart

Forever and ever

Although you've left

And now walk above

I'm never alone

Im wrapped in your love

Enjoy now your long waited reward

Feel peace that your love continues on

What was taught to me,

will be taught to mine.

Cause you live on in me

even after you've gone !!!!
